"I notice that said countdown is measured in years."
"Yes, well, we're still under contract for another three seasons. Can't end things too quickly you see."
"No, I mean, even discarding that I have time manipulation powers. What's stopping me from warping to the proper junction in time to halt the countdown, or even stopping you from turning it on in the first place?"
"Nothing but the contract. Three seasons. I have until then to make my plans accordingly."
"Can't you come up with an overly complicated plan to discredit said contract and let us end this charade?"
"Probably, but then I would be helping you, and I am, among other things, a Card Carrying Villian."
"Bastard."
"Magnificent Bastard."

FFM is going way overboard with these challenges. Because it wasn't difficult enough to write 31 pieces in a month.
Day 15 - Write a story with a magical girl and a magnificent bastard, one played straight, one inverted. That's FOUR challenges for one day. AND I did it all in fucking dialogue and 130 words. Suck it.
If you need help:
- Magnificent Bastard is played straight (and also carries a Card).
- Magical Girl has powers but can't do shit with them because of Narrative Causality.

This is awesome! I liked this, but tbh, the name is what attracted me to read this as soon as I saw it on my watch. I just love it! 8D
