Zero is not a size.

Zero is a lack of size,
a wafer-thin waist
where your organs
should be.

Zero should be the number
of girls that hate
the width of their hips.

But I live in a world
where zero is a size,
and nothing is valued
less
than substance.
Maybe I should have titled this Vanity Sizing for a bit of variety?

Vanity sizing is why it's so hard for me to find comfortable pants :grump:

Fitting I should stumble upon this now. I was lamenting how bamboozled women are into mutilating themselves to fit moulds and the like while I was cleaning up a job-site today.

I have always despised this nonsense with women chasing perfection. It might be the Hard Lemonade talking, but I have always found a woman's quirks, her unique intricacies and irreplaceable anomalies which make her so undeniably bewitching. This business with rinse-and-repeat Cosmo models is insulting to each and every one of my caveman instincts.

Happy Friday, at any rate! And I hope you've found yourself some comfortable pants.

It's hardly a new sentiment anymore, but I hope I put my own style no the subject :)

All of my pants are comfortable ;) I spend most days wearing pajama pants since I rarely have anywhere to be.

It may not be a new sentiment, but it is not old news either and is still a problem. In my less than humble opinion.

And would that I could wear pyjamas digging ditches in Portland!

Yes, yes, YES.
Women's bodies do not exist on a sliding scale, and size is not golf, with the lowest number winning. Arbitrary numerical sizes are ridiculous, even without the nonsensical existence of a "size 0." Men's clothing makes so much more sense. My waist is X inches, my hips are Y inches, and my inseam is Z inches. Presto. Clothes that actually fit.

I know; I'm so jealous of men's sizing. I have the worst time trying to find pants that A) fit and B) are comfortable. My pant size is anywhere from 18 to 24 depending on the brand. And don't get me started on all the "skinny," "low-fit," "high-rise," "boot cut," and whatever other BS is on the tags.
