Literature Experiment

The Rules of Distinction
You can read over that journal entry to discover the genesis of the project. I've opted to make it a little more game-like because I like games :B
Distinction is a literature game in which there are two sets of participants. The first participant submits a piece to me, anonymously. A piece no one on dA has seen before. Something evocative of their own personal style. The second set of participants are the guessers - when I upload a new piece, their job will be to attach the writer to the work.
Simple enough. Here's how the process will work, step-by-step:
1. Deviation is uploaded. Players may begin submitting their guesses in the comments right away. You're free to rationalize and draw parallels to help your case or display your logic, but it's not a requirement.
2. After 24 hours have passed, I will edit the Artist Comments with a list of possible writers. Naturally, if the name has already been guessed correctly, there will be no need.
3. The first person to

Official rules and alternate account specifically for game playing is right here!

I wanna try something. I want anyone who wants to participate to send me a new piece of writing - DO NOT POST IT TO dA. Put it in Stash or send it to me via note or something - it just has to be something no one has ever seen before. I want to find out just how distinctive some of our styles are, and if the lit. community can identify the writer without a name attached to the piece :)

No deadline or anything, at least not right now. I'm not entirely sure how I want to execute it - the easiest way would probably be to post as as deviation and make it super-extra-clear in the artist comments that it's not written by me. Then everyone can guess away below. Any thoughts on how I could best structure this? My other thought is to go by journal entries, but I don't like that - I think I'd prefer to keep it as a deviation to avoid distraction by format.

:new: Well, I've got a rush of participants now :D Still no deadline yet, but it's definitely a thing I'll be hosting in the near future.

There are two ways I'm thinking about doing this. I could post the deviations in Stash and link them in a journal, or, as suggested by introverted-ghost, I could create an alternate account specifically for this project and post submissions as deviations. I don't want to post them as deviations on my own account, so this would be a potential solution, and I wouldn't have to worry about the bugginess of Stash, or create too many links to follow. Which solution would be preferable?

:new::new: I have enough submissions to begin my project, so I went ahead and created an alternate account - StyleOverSubstance. A fitting name, I believe  I'll be uploading the first piece in the next day or two, so keep an eye out! If you don't want to watch the account, that's fine - I'll be putting up a poll on my page with each new piece.

I have about 15 participants at the moment, so for now I'll be uploading one piece every day. Feel free to continue sending things and I'll try to make it a regular recurrence - perhaps every few months or so? Would anyone like to volunteer to help me run things?

For each piece, I'm planning to upload it without anything in the artist comments - after 24 hours, I will put a list of potential solutions to guess from. I hope this will create a more "fair" game as it were. I will also be uploading at random times to account for time zones. The first correct answer gets 25 :points: and a bookmark from me, just to spice it up a little and grab a little more interest :)

Are submissions still open for potential participants? I would like to participate.
