It's little man's third birthday next week, but we had the party tonight. I took him to a bouncehouse place on Friday and he liked that - the noise from the air compressors scared him at first, but once I actually got him on one of them, he got the idea. He loved the slide, and ran through the obstacle course a few times. We stayed for about two hours and for a very reasonable price. Much better than shelling out twenty bucks to go to the museum.

Joined Doc for class on Wednesday and it turns out he won't be needing a second surgery, so that put him in good spirits. Sometime next week we're going on an adventure with my camera. I'm still working on my postcard project, and I'm going to need a lot of photos that I can make into my own postcards. I talked Doc into joining me for a day downtown, looking for good photo opportunities.

He also gave me some more books; one from him, and one from Mary Ellen. I read the poetry book from her already, but I haven't started the Ha Jin collection from him. The poetry was okay I guess - I can't seem to get into poetry collections very well. There might be one or two I like, but never consistently the whole of the book. I feel like I fail as an English major

My dad calls me and my siblings to the living room
