What do I do with all these fragments
I have so many, y'all want some? I can't even buy prints with them, what's the point. Unless I can convert them into points somehow? My medical issues have dwindled down to me getting tired easily on occasion and flying into violent rages every time I log in here and have to look at Eclipse. I wanted to do a bit of title poetry and titles aren't even displayed anymore. Right now I'm job hunting in earnest, but not much else; I'd like to get some cashflow going quick enough to enjoy market season at least a little, but don't foresee that happening. I do have a bit to spend for a new game on my Switch, but can't decide what I want; I've been playing Slime Rancher, but I think I've explored most everything which only leaves the resource management part (aka, having a job), so I'm losing interest. I played Heaven's Vault before that and while I enjoyed it, I don't think I'll be coming back to it. Doc was interested in it though, once I explained the main mechanic was translating
A Comprehensive Medical History
Alright folks, we're gonna have to bullet point this to get yall up to speed. Content warning for blunt medical talk. -Several months of recurring abdominal pain that I thought was something minor turned out to not be minor at all. Hospitalized for 16 days where a CT scan revealed an abdominal abscess Fluid was drained over the course of about a week; the other half of the stay was due to the surgery I needed on a blood blister that mysteriously occurred during the first few days of my stay. It turned out not to be connected to the abscess, but no one knows why it happened either. Sent home with a fuckton of meds; Flagyl was a particular thorn in my side as I kept throwing it up, and my meals with it. Consequently, I didn't have the energy to walk any further than to and from the bathroom. This lead to a clot developing in my leg, which became a full on pulmonary embolism. Two weeks after getting home, I was again in the hospital, this time to remove a frankly disgusting amount of
Spoilers for Legends Arceus below.
I haven't cared this much about Pokemon since 2012. As a collector, I've had a delightful time. Unlike more hardcore fans, I like that the format ditched it's reliance on constant trainer battles. And I really like that it made up for that lack by giving us THE BEST BATTLE IN THE ENTIRE DAMN FRANCHISE HOLY SHIT I HAVEN'T BEEN STEAMROLLED THIS BADLY SINCE GEN II. New favorite character, Volo is my guy. This motherfucker rolled up with a team of eight, broke up the battle formula conditioned into us over the course of literal decades, proved his genetic superiority by steamrolling everyone so hard that his modern descendants are champions, and it was so hype that we all thanked him for kicking our asses. I am begging GameFreak to give us more DLC explaining this man's backstory. I need to know who hurt this man and how I can make them pay. My latest hyperfixation aside, it's the usual bs around here - I wake up, I go to work, I come back and sleep. Rinse, repeat. I am writing
Clingy
Still clinging to this place, despite hating Eclipse with every fiber of my being. My latest job is the easiest I've ever gotten paid for, and I get to wear headphones all day, so feel free to send me down weird YouTube rabbit holes or to little-known podcasts that need more listeners. Jacob Geller continues to be the best video essayist on YouTube and I will die on this hill, please go check him out if you're into video games, art, literature, or analysis. Seriously, it doesn't matter if you know the piece, this is still fascinating. My dad introduced me to a podcast called "Says You," which is an enjoyable quiz show centered around language, so I've listened to a few episodes of that. I'm also in the middle of a deep dive into Kentucky Route Zero on the Eggplant podcast (looking at you @Nichrysalis) that was desperately needed for me to really begin processing all the layers of that game. Still trying to annoy Doc into

I have to say, he really is one of the more wilder applications we have received. I'm not going to respond to him for the time being so that this does not spark any more flaming.
