Personal
Life proceedes much as usual - dentist appointment yesterday, Drama a few days before that, babysitting, friends not calling me back so any weekend plans are shot and yadda yadda yadda. I've been hearing reports of postcards in the mail though, so at least someone out there is having a more exciting week than me
Been writing like crazy lately. No idea why. But I'm not complaining, and I haven't heard anyone else complaining either~ Autumn and Lawrence have been on the shelf for a while and I'm glad I did decide to take a break from them; usually I exhaust my story ideas as I go. I'd like to write them some more soon.
Everything else though has been poetry. Good LORD I've written a lot of poetry lately. But perhaps it's good to get it out of my system now, before ~Flash-Fic-Month kicks up. Rest assured prose fans, you'll get your turn in a week
<Mini-Rant> Fuck Stash Writer. Why can't I use the old journal submission process? It was working just fine until dA went and broke it.</Mini-Rant>
So I discovered this place on Tumblr: Languages, Hell Yeah! It's pretty much the best thing ever and anyone with any love of language and literature needs to go check it out. Yes, it's old and hasn't been updated in a year, but there's some great stuff in those archives. And I can always hope that it will one day be active again. For somewhere more active though, you may also go here - BetterThanEnglish.com. Both places are a lot of fun

- You may have noticed #theWrittenRevolution has shut down for the week. Good call I say guys
I think we all needed to step back for a bit and get things running smoothly again.
- =DailyLitDeviations still has the Summer Contest running and you can check their profile for all the details. I haven't seen very many entires yet!
- Actually, no, that's all I got. It's been rather quiet really. I guess everyone is just gone for the summer

And yeah, I'm going through a super lazy month myself. Sorry about that.
I'm looking forward to your FFM works!
I was on a writing binge, and then this thing called SCHOOL came and cramped my style. XD I just did my first speech today (that I've written- I've been to a few speech competitions with historical speeches). It was... different. I ended up dropping all of my notecards because my hands were shaking so badly. However, I somehow kept talking and didn't mess up until after I got the cards back. XD But I got an A, which was honestly more than what I was expecting, so I'm happy.
